About Tim

My work has been widely exhibited, with numerous “Best in Show” awards and honors. Images from the vivid and highly detailed Landscapes on Film portfolio are found in many private art collections including the David and Lucile Packard Foundation in Palo Alto, California.

I have also explored the fascinating field of Scanner Art, creating luminous one-of-a-kind images using a scanner as my camera and light source. These pieces are both captivating and thought-provoking, showcasing a mastery of light, color, and composition.

The beauty of decay is a concept that has long fascinated me. There is something uniquely beautiful about the way that natural or man-made objects deteriorate over time. This idea is reflected in my Scanner Art series and the intriguing character of the Modern Ruins portfolio.

At its core, “Modern Ruins” is a celebration of impermanence. It is an acknowledgement that everything in life is subject to change and that even the most solid or stable structures will eventually crumble and decay. Rather than being a cause for sadness or despair, however, I see the beauty of decay is as an opportunity for creative expression and exploration.

The Travel page is all about capturing the essence of a place, its people, and its’ culture. Celebrations offers endless opportunities to experience candid images of people at their happiest. Wildlife photography is all about capturing the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

Whether you are a collector of fine art, an admirer of stunning imagery, or someone looking to experience the beauty of photography in a new way, I hope you will take some time to explore all of my portfolios.
