I made this image in Pine Creek, in Zion National Park. My conscious goal was to “simplify.” It has become one of my most enduring images. In 2010, I was honored to receive the “Visitor’s Choice” Award at the The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, Colorado “Elements of Water” International Juried Photographic Exhibition curated by John Paul Caponigro.
