This image was made at dawn by the shores of Mono Lake in the Eastern Sierras of California. I made three separate exposures within about 2 minutes. Each had a unique quality, owing to how quickly the light was changing. I was happy to have this photo selected by the Mono Lake Committee for their annual calendar.
